The Oforikrom Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Anwel Ahmed Sadat, has intensified efforts to strengthen collaboration between traditional authorities and local government to accelerate development across the municipality.
The tour, which began on Tuesday, May 27, among other things forms part of the MCE’s pledge to forge a strong bond with the traditional leaders leveraging on their influence to address key development challenges such as education, healthcare, job creation, and peace building.
The MCE, together with the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Charles Attah Mensah, the Municipal Engineer, Ms Gloria Asiedu, other Heads of Departments and Assembly Members, visited some traditional leaders, including Nana Brafi (Bomsohemaa), Nana Poku Agyemang (Ayeduasehene), Odeefour Yaw Barimah (Appiaduhene), Nana Awuah Nimfor (Boadihene), Nana Akosua Serwaa Oheneafrewo II (Ayigyahemaa), and Nana Nkansah Amoaye (Koteihene).
The traditional authorities welcomed him and advised him to serve diligently in humility and unity, emphasizing the importance of bringing everyone on board to achieve developments in the municipality.
