The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Oforikrom, Hon. Ahmed Anwel Sadat, has pledged a bold vision of development and unity under the mantra “Oforikrom First” during his first official engagement with staff of the Oforikrom Municipal Assembly.

In a well-attended durbar held today at the forecourt of the Assembly, Hon. Sadat introduced himself to staff and outlined key initiatives aimed at transforming the municipality in line with the President’s Resetting Agenda.

Notable among the initiatives is seeing to the completion of the Assembly block at Appiadu to ease the existing congestion of staff.

Flanked by the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Mr. Charles Attah Mensah, and the Presiding Member, Hon. Richard Nyarko, the MCE emphasized teamwork, discipline, and non-partisanship as central to delivering results.

Hon. Sadat urged staff to set political affiliations aside and rally behind the common goal of municipal progress. “Let us not play cards with political colours; my focus is Oforikrom First,” he said.

The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Attah Mensah also called for a renewed commitment and team spirit for a collaborative administrative journey.
