The newly confirmed Oforikrom Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Ahmed Anwel Sadat, held his first official meeting with departmental and unit heads on Monday, marking the formal start of his administration.

The meeting, held at the Municipal Assembly, aimed to formally introduce the MCE to the Heads of Department and initiate collaboration towards the Assembly’s development goals.

During the session, the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Mr. Charles Attah Mensah, officially handed over the administrative notes from the previous leadership to Hon. Anwel Sadat.

In his remarks, the MCE expressed appreciation to the MCD and departmental heads for their dedication and service. He appealed for their unwavering support and cooperation, emphasizing that collective effort would be essential to achieving the goals of his tenure.

Hon. Sadat also noted his commitment to addressing the challenges facing the Assembly, in line with the President’s ‘Resetting Agenda’.

To better understand the internal operations, the MCE announced plans to visit the various departments and units to familiarize himself with their functions and working environment.

Pledging full support on behalf of the staff, Mr. Attah Mensah assured the MCE of the Assembly’s commitment to helping him achieve his vision for the municipality.
