The newly sworn-in Oforikrom Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Ahmed Anwel Sadat, today paid a courtesy call on the Amakomhene, Nana Adu Mensah Asare, to formally introduce himself following his assumption of office.

Accompanied by management and heads of departments from the Assembly, Hon. Sadat stated that the visit was in line with tradition, seeking the blessing and support of the traditional authority to ensure a successful tenure.

Nana Adu Mensah Asare congratulated the MCE on his confirmation and assured him of his unwavering support. He urged Hon. Sadat to stay focused, complete ongoing projects, and work diligently towards the realization of the government’s ‘Resetting Agenda’.

Hon. Sadat expressed gratitude to the chief for his warm reception and pledged to foster a strong partnership between the Assembly and traditional leaders for the progress of the municipality.

Among the delegation were the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Charles Attah Mensah; Municipal Engineer, Madam Gloria Asiedu; Municipal Finance Officer, Mr. Kofi P. Akey; and other departmental heads.
