The Oforikrom Municipal Assembly in collaboration with Zoomlion Ghana Limited, organized a clean-up exercise on Saturday, February 4, 2023.

The event began as early as 6:00am with the cleaning of the footbridge and gutters.

The clean-up exercise attracted a number of people who participated in distilling chocked gutters and removals of posters and banners.

Speaking at the event, the MCE, Hon. Antwi stated that the Oforikrom Municipal Assembly will henceforth be embarking on the exercise every first Saturday of the month, and admonished citizens to keep their surroundings tidy to avoid contracting various diseases associated with filth.

The exercise which took place at the Tech Junction, saw the participation of the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Charles Attah-Mensah, Staff of the Assembly, Assembly Members and some residents in the municipality.
