The Oforikrom Municipal Assembly on Saturday, 13th May, 2023, embarked on yet another clean-up exercise at Appiadu Kokoben Electoral Area.

The clean-up exercise was a response to a call made by the General Assembly to tidy up the municipality.

The Assembly Member of the Electoral Area, Hon. Kenneth Owusu Bediako led his constituents to clean up the communities.

The event which began as early as 5:30am saw the sweeping of the principal street, cleaning of gutters, weeding, gathering and disposing of refuse etc. Volunteers were offered gloves, boots and nose masks for protection to ensure the exercise was done effectively without any health implications.

Present at the event were the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Abraham Antwi, MCD, Mr. Charles Atta Mensah, Assembly Members, NADMO, ZoomLion Ghana Limited and residents in the community.
