On the Friday, July 28, 2023, the Agriculture department of the Oforikrom Municipal Assembly exhibited some organic products at the forecourt of the Assembly.

The aim is to provide a market space for farmers within the municipality because they were complaining there wasn’t a market solely for organic products and that people wouldn’t know the difference between the organic and conventional vegetable when they go to the market.

The platform was given to farmers to sell their organic product. The organic product included Lettuces, Carrots Mushroom and other products.

Speaking at the event, a staff at the Agric department of the Oforikrom Municipal, Mr. Samuel Kofi Tekpor urged consumers to patronize the organic products adopted by the farmers and said the exercise will be carried out every two weeks.
