The Oforikrom Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Abraham Antwi, undertook a working visit to several basic schools in the municipality on September 10 as part of the nationwide “My First Day at School” event.

This initiative aims to warmly welcome young pupils entering the school system and encourage their commitment to education.

During the visit, Hon. Antwi, along with senior municipal officers, distributed school supplies to the children and commended the discipline and high attendance observed in the classrooms. He also motivated the students, urging them to take their education seriously as a path to success and national development.

The Municipal Education Director, Madam Dorothy Opare Baidoo, praised the strong enrollment numbers and called on parents to ensure regular school attendance and provide proper clothing for their children.
